Joining the program
- You need to actively create content on a social media platform or website/blog, with an audience interested in freelancing, remote work, or the digital nomad lifestyle. We look for genuine creators who already talk about these topics and can authentically recommend Gighunt.
- No. You do not need to provide screenshots, analytics, or follower numbers. We review applications based on the quality and relevance of your content, not on raw metrics.
- No. There is no minimum follower requirement. Smaller creators with the right audience often perform better than large accounts with a general audience.
Your Affiliate account & Tracking
- You get access to your own affiliate dashboard powered by PromoteKit at affiliate.gighunt.io. In your dashboard you can see how many clicks you generated, how many people signed up, how much commission you earned, and the status of your payouts.
- The cookie lasts 30 days. If someone clicks your affiliate link and signs up within that period, the commission is credited to you.
- We can only track signups that come through your affiliate link or discount code. If neither is used, we cannot assign the commission.
Promoting Gighunt
- You promote Gighunt.io as the place to find online freelance jobs, whether hybrid or 100% remote. You can share your view on Gighunt as a platform to find freelance jobs and the benefits of the platform, including your affiliate link and discount code.
- There is no fixed posting requirement. We recommend mentioning Gighunt when it naturally fits your content. The best results come from regular but authentic mentions.
- Yes. You are encouraged to promote Gighunt in your own voice, as long as you are transparent about using an affiliate link. We ask that you don't use misleading claims, spam, or incentive traffic (e.g. "sign up for a chance to win" as the main reason). Authentic recommendations perform best anyway.
- No. Paid advertising using your affiliate link or coupon code is not allowed unless explicitly approved by Gighunt. The program is designed for organic creators.
- Your commission is always calculated based on what the user actually pays. If they upgrade, you earn more. If they downgrade, your commission adjusts accordingly.
Membership & Fair use
- No. Affiliates do not receive a free Gighunt membership.
You can still use your own personal discount code to get a reduced price on your subscription, but the membership itself is not free. - No. This is not allowed and is automatically detected as fraud. You can use your personal discount code when signing up, but not your affiliate tracking link.
Payments
- To receive payouts, you need a PayPal account. All affiliate commissions are paid exclusively via PayPal. You simply connect your PayPal email to your affiliate account, and your earnings will be sent there automatically during each payout cycle.
- Affiliate payouts are processed around the 15th of each month.
- Yes, there is a minimum payout of €50.
- Yes. For every subscriber that signs up via your link or coupon code, you earn a percentage of their subscription for maximum 6 months.
